TrackMan Launch Monitor AnalysisOVERVIEW OF TRACKMAN The Kevin Perkins Golf Academy is very excited and proud to be using the TrackMan 4 Dual Radar Launch Monitor Technology to analyze in great detail, our students; full swing, putting, chipping, pitching and bunker play. Trackman's technology is a portable swing and movement analyzer that basically uses microwaves reflecting from a moving golf club and golf ball. The change in frequency of these waves is what makes it possible for Trackman to track what happens at the very moment of impact between club and ball. The TrackMan golf radar not only helps map these key data parameters - carry and total distance, ball speed, attack angle, club path, face angle, etc. - it also captures the golf swing with a built-in HD video camera and with the use of up to six external cameras. Trackman's cutting edge technology, utilizes one radar system to track everything the club does before, during, and after impact - from commonly known parameters like Club Path and Face Angle to Swing Direction and Attach Angle. The other radar system tracks the full ball flight - from launch to landing and everything in between; including Carry and Total distance, Launch Angle, Spin Rate and Curvature. It also maps the shot's 3D trajectory in real time, together with all impact and launch information. The Trackman 4 is also equipped to analyze your putting, chipping, pitching and bunker play. TrackMan's 4 Dual Radar Technology is a significant tool to enhance our coaching and instruction, and to perform ball and club fitting here at the Kevin Perkins Golf Academy. FULL SWING Golf practice and player development are going through a period of tremendous change, and technology is a central component in that transformation. The mapping of swing DNA is now possible, as is the quantification and comparison of swing feel vs. real. Technology also empowers us to monitor granular swing changes over time. These are just a few, compelling examples how use of the Trackman Launch Monitor may unleash your talent more effectively. With TrackMan, our academy has tools to jump ahead. From Trackman's groundbreaking club and ball tracking golf radar systems to the best performance enhancing software available in the industry. The TrackMan numbers are the brain behind it all. All major stakeholders of the game, without exception, use and trust TrackMan numbers for two main reasons: precision and reliability. With us, you’ll quickly become an insider of the most revolutionary training tool in the industry. Trackman records the full trajectory of any shot, from 6 foot pitches to 400 yard drives, pinpointing the landing position with an accuracy of less than 1 foot at 100 yards. TrackMan also displays the shot’s 3D trajectory together with 30 impact and ball flight parameters in real time (data is delivered within 1 second). Examples of the full swing impact and ball flight parameters are; Position of Club and Club Data at Impact: Club Speed, Attack Angle, Club Path, Low Point, Swing Plane, Face Angle, Face To Path, Dynamic Loft, Swing Direction, and Spin Loft. Ball Flight Parameters: Ball Speed, Smash Factor, Launch Angle, Spin Rate, Spin Axis, Height, Carry Distance, Landing Angle, Hang Time, Total Distance, Curve, and Distance From Hole. The Dual Radar Technology enables even more data to be captured. Due to its focused, high-resolution radar beam, the TrackMan 4 launch monitor provides our academy with the greatest detail and accuracy of the club and ball at the moment of impact. The amount of detail achieved in the club delivery and ball flight is greatly superior to what is possible through Single Radar Technology. This advancement provides the perfect foundation for analysis and diagnosis. Conclusive data is delivered in an easy-to-understand format, empowering our staff to excel in our training routines which lead to efficient, repeatable, and impactful changes to performance.
